When joining this excursion, we recommend having water with you, wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes for walking.

Approximately 1 hour of walking has been scheduled for this tour.

An amazing day awaits! We leave the port of Kusadasi and head to Ephesus, a majestic marvel nestled in the hills of the Aegean, and one of the largest open-air archaeological museums in the world. Ancient Ephesus, founded by the Greeks in 2000 BC, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis and home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis, which took 120 years to complete.

Ephesus was the wealthiest city in Ionia and later became the second-largest city of the Roman Empire. It holds great significance for Christianity, as it poses one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.

Our approximately one hour guided tour includes the Odeon and the Prytaneion, the marble colonnades of Curetes Street, the Fountain of Trajan, the Temple of Hadrian, the Baths of Scholastica, and the stunning terrace houses. Minutes away we stroll around the impressive, fully reconstructed Library of Celsus and its 12,000 scrolls, and the Agora. Following in the footsteps of Saint Paul, we visit the Great Theatre of Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, which could accommodate up to 24,000 people.
