We leave the port of Kusadasi, drive to the area of Selcuk and the House of Virgin Mary.
According to tradition Virgin Mary was taken to this stone house by Saint John and lived there for the remainder of her earthy life, making it a sacred site for both Christians and Muslims.
Following our visit, we head to the world-famous archaeological site of Ephesus. Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and early Christian periods. Ephesus holds great significance for Christianity, as it poses one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. The Apostle Paul is believed to have spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey
Our one hour guided walking tour includes The Odeon, The State Agora, the Prytaneion, the Memmius Monument, the Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, the Hadrian temple and the latriens. We will carry on with our exploration with the Celsus library, The Marble Road, The Commercial Agora, The Great Theather and The Arcadiane (harbour road).
